Been religiously reading all the menthol posts since I found this site. Narrowed it down to these 4 from reading a lot different reviews, so I decided to take the plunge and just go ahead and order these myself and see if I can pick one out to be my main vape.
Halo's Newpure 18mg, Liquid Express Cool Rush 18mg, JC Artic Menthol 18mg and Innovapor's menthol at 12mg. The JC has a STRONG tobacco flavor whereas it overpowers the menthol. Left me kind of thirsty but man oh man, talk about a throat hit. You know your getting something when you take a hit of this stuff. Also have learned that since this stuff is darker than most, it has been clogging up my atty's moreso that the others. The only way I've come to clean them is with the hot burn method. I'm using "da Blu".
Innovapor tasted like a sweet candy cane, not much of a throat hit and not much tobacco aftertaste, but then again, it was 12 mg.
Cool Rush is pretty good. Nice and "refreshing," but hardly any tobacco taste. Good throat hit but not as strong as JC.
Halo's...man, this stuff was great. Real clear but also a lot thinner than the others. I don't know how much PG/VG thing there was in it, but every time you put some of the juice in the dropper and take it out of the bottle, you'd better be quick about getting it into the cup or whatever you use to hold the juice it, as it will drip freely from the dropper. Good throat hit, but you really got to take a good drag. I guess this is from it being thinner than most. I found I had to refill my cups more often than all of the others. Again, this was by far the thinner liquid. Not like water, but pretty thin. Great taste.
So, since nothing really jumped out to be the one and only thing I'd consider being my standard vape, I did some mixing. The cool rush and JC, about 75/25 ratio, tasted pretty good. I'll bet the Halo and JC mixed about the same would be pretty good too, just haven't tried that yet as I want to finish off some of what I have before moving on to something else, not one to waste stuff. Wonder how much of a differnce there is between Newpure and menthol ice? I'm hoping that a mixture of Newpure and JC will do the trick, as those two products are made here in the US.
