Hi, I'm a newbie here, & a newbie to a blog. I quit smoking cigarettes 4 years ago this March. I was intrduced to vapeig from a relative, and I never looked back! And I don't even crave a cigarette, nor do I miss it! I've tried several other times to quit smoking cigarettes, even while pregnant with my 3 children and was obviously very unsuccessful. I tried everything that was available except for doctor prescription help. Vapeing was easy, natural, and way better, more pleasurable, and smelled/tasted way more amazing. I can breath easier, no more coughing/nasty phlegm, no more smelling like a wet, nasty ashtray! I'm no longer out of breath when doing anything. I'm so glad I quit, I'm proud of quitting & my family is to. So, in short, that's my story. Thank you for allowing me to join this community of Vapers, I look forward to talking & learning from all.

Four years, that's great! Congratulations on switching to vaping and loving it, I feel that way (mostly) these days too. I had tried every quitting method known to mankind, and the only time I was able to stay quit was pregnant and nursing, but I think that was kind of a God moment, because I craved cigarettes the ENTIRE time. I'm so glad vaping is helping you and you must be so relieved. I know I was, and was facing the dreaded COPD diagnosis.

Unbelievable #1 was switching, and unbelievable #2 was actually ENJOYING it. Welcome to ECF, I am certain you will fit right and I'm glad you joined. :) Hope you enjoy your stay here.

Welcome and congratulations! Couldn't agree more about vaping and smoking. A 40+ year 25/30 cig a day smoker, I discovered vaping and this community in August. I am now finishing a week in which I had 2 cigarettes a day. If someone in July of this year had asked me whether I could survive on 2 cigs a day, I would have laughed in their face.

Now, I can honestly say that I enjoy vaping more than I ever did smoking.

Doctors routinely give out samples of medicines that can have serious side effects. In my opinion, they should be giving out samples of e-cigarettes to hard core smokers.

Welcome and glad you joined.
My sentiments too, well said. Sadly our State and Federal representatives don't get it and turn a deaf ear to our former deadly plight.
