401/402

I've been looking around for quite awhile, been vaping longer than I've known of the forum, and I always see it like this: 401/402

Some have a 401, some the 402. What's the diff between the two?

401 = more powerful battery. Got it.
Though I must admit to apparently skimming over the one post in the 18 pages that explains the difference many many times.

You might have also picked this up, but since you didn't mention it, 402= shorter battery.

I did catch that. This means the Pilot hybrid is a 401 & 402 together in one ecig?

That is exactly what the 'Hybrid' in 'Pilot Hybrid' means... one 401 battery and one 402 battery. In my brief time with them, I think the 402 battery performs better for some reason (not talking about length of charge). The 402 is obviously lighter also.

Sorry to drag this out, but does this mean you can buy a 401 or 402, then just pick up either type of battery as you need, or is there something special about the hybrid that allows this, as I would assume that the atomizer is the same on both models.

Yes, the 401 and 402 are completely interchangeable in every way. The Hybrid name was I'm sure just to distinguish it from the fact that before Puresmoker had been selling it with two 401 batteries (which you can still request I understand).
