40a 18650?

I was looking around Vaporrange last night and saw 2 18650 batteries listed at 40A. I think one was the LG HE2 and the other was black (Obtronics? I can't remember). True or inflated stats? I don't vape at super subohm values, but if these are 40A batteries, I would definitely like to recommend them to some here who are vaping at 0.1 ohm on a single battery in a mech.

The red LG he2 have 20A continuous discharge / 35A peak discharge.

That's what I thought. Someone will think they are ok to use for a 0.1ohm build

Currently any batteries listed at 40A have wildly inflated specs. If a 40 amp battery was that easy, Sony, Panasonic or Samsung would be producing and selling them, not some no-name brand.

If it's too good to be true....it's likely bogus....

Yup, the only IMR hybrid batteries rated for 30A continuous are the Sony VTC series. Any suppliers marketing over that are into pulse ratings without telling their customers that's what they're doing. It sucks, but all we can really do is keep putting the word out.
