We still don't know what the asterisk is about. <--------- the topic in case we really need to stay on topic.

We are on topic. The topic may have been ******** when you left but, as you can clearly see for yourself, the topic now is:

Not ******** and not ******** nor ******** and certainly it was never ********. It was briefly ******** around midnight in some time zone or other but that just caused a nasty spat over ******** and ******** verses ****************. Fortunately, before the mods had to ********, thread drift solved the problem as the topic became ******** which it's been since.

Our theories so far:

It has to do with Smokey's anniversary and his blatant disregard for remembering the date.
It has to do with tracking, but was nixed by Retired saying if that was the case, I would have many attached to me. Am I that bad?

Or that good?

It would depend on what, exactly, They are tracking. And you know Them. As in, you don't. Because They don't want you to know. They never do. It's how They are.

I just have to chime in...after reading all 38 + my cat called alice died..6 wks.ago...3 wks after her passing..my heart so broken..i found another kitty..who looks just like her..a young couple had to give her up...her name is Daisy*...I decided when she came to stay..ill always place a * after her name..to me it means...a little flower...so this thread has tripped me out...also my parents wedding anniversary..is the 7th march...please excuse all my ..... .... I have a bad habit at using them...

Replace your ..... with ***** and you'll fit right in. Daisy* sounds like a beautiful name for a cat.
