Me too.. Most funerals that I've been to have been kinda dead.

I can't believe I said that..

I've told my husband to party it up and go crazy at my funeral. Listen to all the stupid music I (used to) like, dance. I really need somebody to do the Worm. And a food fight would be nice.

A celebration of life, as it were. :D I just don't want the crying, the echoing silence....everybody so proper...I was FUN (sort of)...I want people to remember that.

Then I asked that he have me stuffed and taken out every year as a Halloween Decoration.

Do This in Memory of Me.

I think that if we aren't to know what the asterisk signifies, we should take away its power. If anyone wants me to asteriskify their avatar let me know.
I'll pm you, I don't want the powers that be to know, it could earn me an asterisk now that I don't want one.

That is why you need to add the ambiance. I view funerals in a weird way. I do not dwell on the fact they are gone. I remember everything that happened. It leaves me a happier person and a lot of people look at me funny when I do not cry

I don't think this is weird. I'd like to have a talk with the person who came up with the idea to force people to wait in line to talk to distraught family members. Then you have to wrack your brain to think of something nice to say.. When the person was a waste of space and what you really want to say is "I'm so relieved the nightmare of knowing him is over."

I hope people dance, eat cupcakes, and throw confetti at mine.

I have to admit...I love ABBA (yes...I'm that old). Used to rock my daughter to sleep to Dancing Queen.

Dude.. my daughter sings along with almost every single ABBA song, and can usually tell from the opening bars what song it is. She's 5.. and is hooked on ABBA to the point of where I'm getting fed-up of listening and watching them. :D

Although, after Miley's last performance at the VMA's, I'd rather Chloe listen to ABBA than some of the other trash out there that tries to pass as music..

hehe...I call it dancing on the chair music...

As for Miley...I'm pretty immune to the narcissists on the tube but I couldn't even finish watching it. I'm glad she found her niche but...meh...not impressed.

This thread has everything. Conspiracy Theories Funerals and ABBA!!!
Thank you for moving past the Asterisks this has been so fun

These "mods" are clever. They have distracted us all.

(I was wondering about Dusty_D doing that hand wave thing and saying, "These are not the asterisks you are looking for")
