If you mean the one where yours says 'Full Member', when you become a supporting member (pay a fee to ECF to help support the forum financially) you then have the option of creating your own member title. The monthly fee is really small and you really pay yearly. I forget how much it is.

Dont' go around strawmanning*! You can parse what he said as close as you need to in order to feel like you are setting yourself apart, but in the end an "asterisk" is pretty common these days, so it's not really that great of a thing to hang your hat on. [Note: although it is pointed]
