Posted similar in another thread and thought i would share my experience here.
I went in to see Doctore recently for a upper resp infection , doc asked you smoke and i replied i vape and explained to him about it.
He then asked me to take deep breath as he listened and right away said i need chest x-ray as i sounded bad.
They took chest x-ray and he went over it with me and said he could tell i was a smoker but there was no severe damage at this point.
He also stated that my lungs will eventually get better over time .
I did a type of office vape on a machine with liquid medicine to help and then he put me on some meds.
I recall when dad was alive he smoked salems at 3 packs a day, we would be at the dinner table and he would have one burning in ashtray, i picked up the habit at early age and had older brother do the same. Mom never smoked but she got her share from the smoke just in the house , those were the times back then i suppose everyone seemed to smoke.
There all gone now and my teen kids harped on me and the wife for a few years to quit its no good.
We are happy they dont and seem like they never will smoke.
I smoked for almost 40 years at 2 packs a day and think now what the heck was i doing to myself .
Been off the analogs since May of 2011.
There is hope for me and others as i feel its never to late to quit analogs.
I can honestly say i will never ever smoke another cig for as long as i live.
