I tested some of these when I had my Mako, mine came off the charger at 5.3v and at 400mAh, they lasted about 3 hours.

I think it's the megladon batt and not the mako maksi batt... I think that because Hoogie says it's for the Maxi Rough Stack which takes an 18650... and I already own a couple of megladon batts. The come off the charger a little higher at 5.5 (but drop to around 5.2 really fast) and die around 4.5. Using 1.5 ohm dual coils, they go about 3.5 to 4 hours for me and with a ~2.8 ohm atty, they go 6+ hours.

5 to 6 hours. The light won't turn green according to the description on madvapes site.

And, i can say that the other charger out there for them is now the same way. The first ones turned green too soon and the batts had to be left on the charger for a very very long time to get a full charge. The new ones never turn green and you have to remember to pull them off the charger in about 6 hours. - Looks like that's how madvpaes charger is too.

If you have a multimeter, you should see 5.5 to 5.6 volts right off the charger. If the battery sits without being used for a day or two after charging, it will read 5.3 to 5.4v.

I hope that helps.

An update: After they drop to 4.6v they seem to be a lot lower and quit performing well. Since I can't check the voltage under a load I'm just guessing but I would say that there's a lot of difference between the under load voltage and no load. About 4 or 5 hrs. good use. Maybe that's about right for 600 mAh? I don't know.....

That's pretty much my experience. I get around 4 hours of heavy vaping with dual coils. I get a little over 6 hours with a 3.0 ohm atty. And yeah, 4.6 is pretty much the bottom. They're ready for the charger once they're down to that point.

Thanks for the confirmation, these are the only way I can use my BSB over 4v and less than 6v, I was thinking 4.8v but you don't get very long at that voltage. I guess I thought that because they are described as 4.8v batts. My bad, at least when one is dead the other is ready to go. Since my BSB is out of warranty I could open it up and see if I could put a booster chip in it with the voltage fixed at say 4.8v. Might not be enough room but the connector seems damaged anyway so I might have to have a look see.........
