If there is interest in a how to I got the pictures for doing one. It will more then likely be in madvapes how to page in the near future as well.

Or you could perhaps get an idea looking here. I will be adding a wire diagram soon.

Please be sure to read post #20 and on. These batteries seem to be a bad idea at 5 volts.

Sweet!!:toast: What are the dimensions of that box on the inside Cman...and how many of those parts will Dreamy be missing in the morning??;):D

This has got to be one of my favorite Connman Mods! When he handed it to me to see..... I kinda didn't want to give it back! But.... he swiped no parts from me.... so I didn't even have, like, any excuse to claim my patti pending upon.

But..... it's a 5 volter and I prefer 3.7... so he's safe to sleep without guarding it. Now.... when he does a 3.7v with juice feed..... :sneaky:.... then he'll have to really, really worry!

The only problem with this beautiful, perfect tiny mod... (IMO)..... is that the batteries are an apparently rare animal. :(

Wow, what a sweet little 5v! Looks like a real temper-tester (I might as well just jot down preselected curse words in advance so I don't have to ad lib it as I go). I've never noticed that kind of battery up till now, they look like RCR123a's at first glance. Now Dreamy needs to apply her special touch with some outside bling. Could you turn that into a domino maybe? Making perfect lil indents for dots was discovered here by accidentally running my drill in reverse (duh lol). That's an awesome mod!

Hello nicotime,
It`s this box
Project Box 1.97 x 1.4 x .79

And she will only be missing some PC board material I already swiped a while back.
And I think you have that connfused. She swipes my stuff not me swiping hers. :p

Cool...I just did one with the longer 3" box with 2- 14500 in parallel. Get you a couple magnets on the corners where the screws are and the cover flies right on it.

I am ordering a few more boxes from Digi-Key to try and make a slide retractable setup for the atty and cart. Have you ever experimented with something like that? I would like to have it to where when you slide the atty/cart up out of the box it also engages the ground contact...so when you slide it back in, it acts as a safety disconnect switch. I'm always putting this one in my pants pocket but when I bend down or over it wants to break or loosen the atty connector.

You ever need help hiding your mod stuff from Dreamy just send it to me, and I'll..uhh...take gooood care of it for you!;)

Wow Nicotime. My sister telling you what I`m working on. Hmm I don`t even think she knows that one yet though.

Yes I have been thinking on this mod project going right now on a retractable atomizer cart deal running 5 volts. Been looking the device over that is going to be modded one way or another and that idea screams at me every time I look at it or click a pen to use it.
Now I`m just trying to figure out how to keep it all smoothly running up and down without any wear on the wires.
It`s all just thoughts in my head right now but one day.

Wow I love the Domino Trick and Idea Liz. Really would work on this box I got sitting here. Looks like a Domino except for the dots are not there. YET.

And there was a time of those words you spoke off flying. Luckily my sister was at work. But I still feel bad for the cats and dogs hearing that frustration relief valve going off. That`s when I put it all down then came back and finished it the following day with smooth soldering. :D

We meet every night to tape a subliminal message that tells you what we want you to mod, then she puts it by your bed when your asleep.

Yeah...wires are a problem...thats what I am stuck on. I wanted to have the connections made only when extended but I cant figure out a reliable system. Maybe some of sis's Chrysler parts?Hmmm... Does her car have a power antenna?:D

This is also posted in the Madvapes Forum but I need input on this as much as possible if it is a safety concern.
Ok this Test run on the Mini 5 Volt Using the 14250 batteries has been completed.

I started the test at 10:48PM and it ran till the batteries stopped at 1:45 AM
So 3 Hours of 4 seconds vapping burst and a good nic buzz.

That`s 3 minutes and 42 seconds of constant vape or 57 hits of 4 second hit coming out around the total over 3 hours.

Or my math could be off some. But that`s enough and as expected from the size of these batteries.

Now did I notice anything strange you ask?

Why yes I did. And funny you would ask.
But at the end of a 4 second hit I noticed the mod seemed perhaps warm. Thought it could be the regulator or even my hands causing it.

I removed the cover and all seemed normal so I took another 4 sec vape with my finger resting on the batteries. Right at the end they seem to warm up slightly. Nothing big and almost un-noticed.
Now I was hitting it rather fast running this test or I wouldn`t have noticed this perhaps..

I just did this same test on my Nico Drip running 5 Volts using 14500 batteries and they do not show any sign of warming up.

So any input on this being a safety hazard? Or will this just really be hard on the batteries and shorten their life?
