That's a nice little mod

I made a similar one using madvapes 1AA battery box and manage to cram 2 14250, 5 volt regulator, LED, tact switch, and 510 connector in it.

you can also get a 14500 to work in it, so I had a 5 volt and a 3.7 volt mod.

I noticed with brand new 14250 batteries it would work perfectly fine but after a couple recharges the batteries started to act funny. If you think about it, it makes perfect since I was using a 2.0 ohm atty at 5 volts that means I was asking for the batteries to supply 2.5 amps. That's a lot of current for those small 350mAh batteries

Conman, I thought those batts were going to be fun. I put them in a 2AA box first and had trouble with 2 pair so I parked them for now.
The first pair worked good for a couple of cycles. Then right after putting them in, I took a couple hits before I snapped the cover back on. One got hot, heatshrink melting, I yanked it out.
I ordered a second pair, and after the 1st or second cycle one of the pair wouldn't charge and read over-discharged. So I parked them for now. I'm thinking when I get my mod bug back, I'll use them in 3.7 mini's.
I may have had bad sets.... just keep an eye on them. You might want to use a rubber band for a couple of days so you don't have to get those screws out in a hurry!
Looks great though!

Thanks for the feedback Sci, lefear, and 42109.
So this is a mod of short life to the batteries it seems. Hmm that bites.

I did however get the batteries to charge as normal. Felt fine during and at full charge so. It`s the massive pull on them causing this. I have used one in a normal 3.7 volt mini mod. But it never had any trouble. But just to be sure I`m going to stick my finger on that battery next time I hit it as well. That mod will be posted as a juice feeder soon.

Again thanks for the feedback. Hope I can still edit the first post to let people read the bad stuff.

Well can`t edit the first post maybe I`ll try a Moderator to mention reading the whole thread.
So there will be no how to on this now.

Depends on what the C rating is on the battery. At 5C (seems to be the norm for this battery type) you can provide 1750 mAh. Based on your math above, these will not survive long in this scenario.
