Thanks, just received my 20$ mod box, 3.7 volts, 808 connector, using a 14500 battery, design is nice, sturdy box, on/off switch, a little bit bigger than a bic lighter, it's really small and convenient. So it do looks good, but I can't get a consistant vape !

I press the button, the light turns on but nothing's happening to the cartomizer (no sound, no sizzle, no vape), I need to press very VERY hard to make it work and sometimes it doesn't light the cartomizer. And when it do work, the vape is kind of cold, looks like it only draw 1 volt. I tried fresh charged trustfire 14500 from dealextreme and IMR 14500 from clouds of vapor (this one needs a spacer to be able to fit), and I used these batteries on all of my 3 wetbox until they died (this thing is crap, the switch always die), so I know the battery do work. Absolutely no juice leaked inside.

I need to point out that it did work fine for about 10 minutes when I first tested it and I was pretty much happy. Seems like everyone else in this thread has been able to make it work, just not me, what a shame.

Same thing happened with mine. Exact same thing w/ trustfire & imr 14500 on a blue 3.7v box and it happened to be the negative wire where it had a solder contact on the outter rim of the 510 adapter. I had to have a friend re-solder the connection and it was fine, until I dropped it and cracked the case. It worked great after I fixed, must be a problem in shipping or something, because I know that Dan test fires the boxes before they ship.

Same thing happened on my 5v mod. :( I sent it back once already but the same thing happened when I got it back. It vaped for 2 minutes and then stopped working. The LED comes on but the atty doesn't fire. I looked inside and see the Radio Shack 7805 mosfet was used and it's only 1.5 amp so my 510 atty's won't work with this mod. I am going to get the correct regulator from TI and replace it myself.
