Best qualities in a dad: Be there for your kids and let them know you love them no matter what.

I finally got to meet my dad once...when I was 47. He's the one who missed out.

I love (almost) everything about my dad.
He is smart, funny, sweet, hardworking, considerate and giving. I think my very favorite quality about him (if I could choose) is that he does what is right, just because it is right, not because anyone is watching.
He is a good man, and I truly love him.

Both my fathers (father and step father) have passed away, I miss them both all the time. My Father just was unconditional love, he was always there when I needed him. My Step Father taught me real lessons of life. Although i did not like him when I was young growing up, once I was on my own and had a child of my own I realized the true value of his lessons. My Father passed away suddenly but we had just gotten together 2 days previous, and my son is the only grandchild he ever held. I was able to tell my Step Father how much I appreciate and love him before he moved on.

It was very important to know that my Dad supported me and my sisters and had faith that we would overcome obstacles, set backs and those rebellious teenage years.
