I use glass bottles, bout 9 months all I would keep it for at room temp,frig should last longer, since i use glass bottles won't recommend freezing it most discoloration is from oxygen getting to it which is impossible to prevent which doesn't affect taste in anyway, taste change comes from starting with poor quality nic, the impurity's that give it the rancid taste over time, cause if you start with 95% pure nic , this means you got 5% impurity's, which is not good, we use 99.9% pure , so all my nic does is change color over time, doesn't give the rancid taste, because there are no impurity's for the rancid taste to develop. hope this helps
