Anyone could please tell me what kind of threadings is used to hold the 510 and 801 atoms on the battery? thanks in advance

You can buy 510 to 801 or 801 to 510 adapters for a couple of bucks apiece at most eCig suppliers.

Sure, but I would like to try to directly machining it, to limit the needed parts for my experiments
