510 Atomizers & Cartomizers VS Ego Atomizers & Cartomizers low resistance Vs Normal

Im a bit confusted here.

When i got my Ego it shipped with the dinky 510 atties. I have struggled with these not very good in my opinion.

So now they sell special Ego cartomizers and atomizers which are much better and produce better vapour. These are available in low resistance and normal resistance. And the Ego Atomizers are available in 2 types - cone shape (a) and not cone shape (b). There seems to be only one type of cartomizer available a straight one.. not a cone shape one. Also i cant seem to find the LR cartomizers people have been talking about?

So.. umm which shall i get? The Ego Cartomizers are available at $12 for 5 peices at health cabin.. seem remarkably cheap are they original joye products? The colours dont seem to match the ego colours so i am wondering but they do call them Joye Ego cartomizers so that does kind of suggest they are made by Joye.

They also sell low res and normal res versions of each. They dont however seem to sell Low res cartomizers. I d be really interested in getting low res cartomizers.

Otherwise i could just use the Ego atomizers or the LR ego atomizers.. can i do the teabag mod thing with these or are they too big? Can you seal the juice in there and carry a couple of spares in your pocket or will it all drip out through the mouthpeice?


So anyway this is all horribly confusing. Ive spend a fortune on vaping stuff already. Why are they shipping egos with the crappy 510 atomizers when there are the Ego ones which are meant to be heaps better?

What should I do????

My one complaint about all this vaping stuff is its too complicated. You just have to look at say the TW site it would be enough to put any newbie off.. so many choices and jargon.

I'd go with the low resistance, much better vapor production. I have an ego and use the low res with a drip tip and it's perfect. Since you only use a couple drops per vape, it really doesn't leak if you put it in your pocket or bag. I just carry a small bottle of juice around with me for refills.

Personally I think the ego specific 'mega cartomizers' suck. They end up with a burnt paper taste pretty quickly. If you do get the Mega carto's you'll need a syringe to fill them 18 gauge works good. The Mega B atty works pretty good for dripping. LR atty's are nice too just remember they will shorten the life of your ego and use up the charge quicker.

I have to agree about the mega cartomizers...I got nothing but a 'burnt' taste from them...I do use the joye 510 regular cartomizers and they work great....HTH.....Happy Vaping!
