Have started vaping 2 weeks ago with a brand new joye 510 and i quit the analogs in 5 days , couldnt get rig of the morning analog but finnaly did it :D , so after dripping and topping off all day long i can now see my atty coil its brown , i can see lots of gunk in it , so was wandering if some1 know's an effective way of removing that gunk out of the atty coil without demaging it ? I mention my atty its still kicking in like a crazy horse :D but just wanted to take some precautions with that gunk thats gathered into the coil , if someone knows an effective method please reply , havent cleaned my atty with any alchool or cola ... i just use the manufacturere's maintenance from its manual .

Thank's in advance

There are many opinions on this. I can only tell you what has worked well for me. I also have 510. I take my attys and blow them out. I soak them in alcohol for 10 to 20 min, after that I blow them out and set them on a paper towel for a hour or so with the battery end up. When dry put a few drops of juice on the atty wick. Haven't ever lost a atty. Hope that helps. Also do this if you start to get a burning taste.

I have adapted a method proposed here on the forum (H2O2 boiling and atty burning).

I get the excess liquid out of the atty, then burn the coil red hot, then throw the atty in pure PG and leave it overnight. In the morning the PG is brown, atty clean and I just need to blow the excess out and use it straight away.

PG seems to dissolve the gunk pretty well and burning helps dislodging it from the coil.
