I am having problems with one of my attys. It will produce vapor but I can't taste anything. I only cleaned it by blowing it out. Has anyone had this happen and figured out a way to fix it ? the atty is less than one week old
I am filling my own carts. I am using a coffee juice right now that has a very strong flavor. I put on another atty and I can taste the juice fine. It just seems strange that it would still produce vapor but no taste. I am confused.
attys can do funny things. you might want to let it sit for awhile/ it might not ever come back and maybe it will. Ive seen strange things happen. always have plenty of attys..
Hmmm. The only other thing I can think of is if you blow it out good, it'll produce vapor, but, at least for a dripper, the taste doesn't set in until after a few vape sessions. But, I'm assuming you're more like me and would vape and vape until you're convinced you have a problem.
I have read on these forums that you can soak in vodka or grain alcohol.. do you think this would help ? Why are these alcohols better than isopropyl alcohol ?
When I first bought PG liquid and refilled my own cart I was in awe! I never thought e-cigg vapor could taste so good, it seems the prefilled carts are crap.
Ok, so I let the atty sit for 2 days and then blew it out again.. A semi large amount of black particles came out of it and then quite a bit of fluid. I had a bottle of PG liquid that I had not used before laying around and decided to just direct drip it to see what would happen.. WOW I think it's better than brand new. Now I just need to figure out where to buy small bottles that I could refill with juice.. I don't think I will be using carts at all anymore unless I absolutely have to. This is such an improvement.
For any mixing hardware, you can't go wrong with One Stop DIY Shop. Great customer service, and some of the best prices you'll find for DIY mixing supplies, including dropper bottles. Lightening fast shipping.
The only cheaper way to get dropper bottles is direct from us plastic which is kind of slow.
Many people like Vodka or grain since it isn't so bad if you vape some of it. Rubbing alcohol wouldn't be good to vape if there was some leftover in the atomizer.
Atomizers can die in so many ways. I have 2 that just taste like water and produce a little vapor. I've cleaned them but they're just no good anymore.
No telling when they die. Some go over a month, some last 2 weeks or less. I buy 2-3 at a time just in case.
Thanks for all the tips and help. After looking at that site I am thinking it might be fun to try my own hand at mixing some juice to see how I can do.
