I also found that my recent order of 6 attys from Terri came each wrapped in plastic with a little more than normal amount of preservative oil on them. That is not a problem at all as they use that oil to prevent oxidation (rust) from forming during shipment and storage. I normally blow each atty out really well from both ends, then run them under hot tap water for a good minute or two - I use a clothespin to hold it - then blow it out really good from both ends again. Now you can put about 4-5 drops of e-
juice directly onto the bridge of the atty, add your cart and start
vaping, but realize that the first few vapes may not taste quite right. Or you can let them dry overnight on a radiator (I use the top of my pellet stove where the cats sleep) and then 4-5 drops, cart and vape.
As long as this is working for you then this is normal to have excess packing oil and you've eliminated the problem and no need to let Terri know. However, if you continue to have a problem, let us know and we'll see if we can't help you figure it out. I recently had just one new atty that was blocked, I mean I could not blow
any air at all through it either way. I looked at it closely with a jewelers loop and couldn't see anything wrong with it, but it is just blocked solid. I emailed Terri just as an FYI (not worried about getting a replacement) so if she started getting similar complaints she could notify her supplier of a problem trend, and she insisted on replacing it anyway. Their customer service is
top shelf in my book!
