is boiling the best method to clean a 510 atty? if yes how often shall i do it

thamks

I'm thinking it probably depends on how dirty they are; how long between cleanings, how thick/dark the juice is, etc. I've played with a few methods and there are a few I haven't tried yet but as another poster mentioned, the ultrasonic jewelry cleaner sounds like a great idea (if I had one). Mostly these days I just run some hot water thru them, blow them out, and repeat a few times. Tried a new trick last night I'd read about on here for a couple of attys and a handful of cartos, using a denture cleaner tablet (bought a box for this, they're cheap at Walmart) just like cleaning dentures. Worked okay on the carto I've tried, haven't tried the attys yet. Can also use PGA (190 proof grain alcohol) instead of vodka, which I've tried, works pretty well if you don't drink it. Lots of tricks you'll learn on here. :D

Happy vaping! :vapor:

I soak atomizers overnight in Everclear, then blow them out, rinse well with hot water, blow them out again, and then let them sit somewhere quietly to dry overnight. I am also very .... about cleaning the atomizers each and every single time I change the flavor in my cartridges because I do not want my flavors "touching" one another. (Yes, I had to have a divided plate as a kid) :p
