I have a Blu Plus+ Pack while I'm waiting for my wismec reuleaux dna200 mod to ship, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any 510 batteries that could ideally both slide INTO the blue plus+ charger pack for easy on the go carrying, and also preferably charge using the blu+ pack charger? I know mixing batteries and chargers is dangerous and tricky, so I'm not apt to experiment with this on my own, but would like to know if anyone else has tried and failed or suceeded here?

For those that do not know, the new Blu Plus+ Pack is a little pack that looks like a pack of analog cigarettes, you plug the whole pack into a usb wall charger and a battery hidden inside of the pack charges up overnight, then when your out and about during the day you slide the blu 510 battery into the second slot from the right LED facing up and a metal pin in the bottom of that slot makes contact with the blu 510 battery contact on the threaded end and recharges the 510 via the pack built-in battery. The pack also has slots for 3 flavor cartridges and a full size slot for the assembled battery+cartomizer.

I'm looking for a 510 that will slide in and charge the same way the Blu 510 battery does, prefereably one without a 10 second cut off, and no LED. It would probably have to be either buttonless, or a recessed button of some sort, with the same contact on the thread side for the pack charging pin to touch against. This, or if anyone knows of a way to disable Blu's stupid 10 second auto cut off that would work wonders and I'll just stick with using the blu batteries for my on the go stuff.

Any suggestions? Any advice is VERY much appreciated.

I have found refillable blank blue cartomizers, but does anyone know of a tank like the new plus+ tanks that are empty refillables and the same size/will fit in the blu plus+ on-the-go charge pack?? That would be very much appreciated as well, the refillable cartomizers I can find online are all in the old style using cotton wadding it seems, while the new blu plus+ tanks are actually TANKS that hold 2ml or so of juice with a wick and no wadding/sponge material.

Lastly, I know Johnson Creek no longer supplies the blu ejuice, unlike most forum members, I actually LOVE the NEW Classic Tobacco flavor from Blu, does anyone have any idea where Blu is sourcing it's juice from now that it's not johnson creek? I know it's a juice based on a tobacco extract that's both VG and PG based now, it has some hints of chocolate or vanilla sweetness with a very strong throat hit, and Blu's marketing material says that they CANT produce the Classic Tobacco flavor in Nicotene Free versions because it's a tobacco extract based juice -- does this mean they are using a NET or WTA juice now?!? Anyone know of an alternative that tastes like the new blu classic tobacco flavor? (not the old johnson creek version).

PPS. First post, so Hello forum! I'm not new, just back from the world of combustibles after my first failed switch a good 6 years ago. Good to be back, enjoying smells and tastes again. This community and movement has grown tremendously since my first dive into PV's, it's really incredible to see.

I wish all of you well, and look forward to hearing your replies.

Thanks,
GEM.

Hello and welcome.:toast: I'm not sure about this, but I have a vague recollection of coming across the info that blu batteries have the positive and negative switched as compared to all other ecigs I know of. If that is truly the case there might not be any batteries that would work with the blu charging case. Maybe someone more sure about that could chime in.

AFAIK, there are none. The Blu's are cig-a-likes, that is the size and diameter of a cigarette. There are no 510 batteries of that size of which I am aware, and if there were they'd suffer the same problems as the Blu batteries: low power and short life. A Blu/Cigalike/cigarette is about 7.5mm in diameter. The slimmest eGo or 510 threaded batteries I know of are 14mm. Sorry about that, and welcome to the board.

I must have been tired or confused when I wrote that.

What I am looking for is a cigalike battery with the SAME threading as the blu that can charge in the blu+ charger and doesn't use the airflow power switch. But I think it's going to be one of those things I just have to experiment with. If/when fast tech ever finishes restocking the items in my last order, I'll have a decent on the go kit and can maybe retire this blu+ kit. :)

I still would like to warn you, as others have already warned you: The Blu uses different polarity for contacts, and you could possibly seriously harm yourself, if you were to use normal cigalike batteries/510 batteries, as the middle pin in the battery is the positive in normal cigalike/510 batteries, and in Blu's it's the negative.

Do not charge any other cigalikes other than the Blu ones in the charger you have, unless you are 110% sure, the battery you are going to use has got the same polarity as the Blu charger.

Edit: Have you looked into getting a Joyetech Emili, those are really cheap nowadays and come with a tank + charging case + 2 batteries.
