510 battery with blu charger

I know 510 batteries are not compatible with my blu charger. someone mentioned in another thread that it is because the polarity of the battery contacts is reversed.

Can I take the blu charger apart and reverse the positive and negitive connections and successfully charge the 510 battery with it?

You MIGHT be able to do this, but it's probably easier and a lot less riskier to buy a proper charger. It still might not work, as their voltages and capacities may not be compatible. All I know is this: improperly charging a lipo battery is a very, very bad thing. As in exploding, and fire.
