510 cartomizer = bad ?

Finally got some cartomizers. They are the genuine Joye ones, got em from cignot. One eGo high menthol, one eGo high tobacco, one standard 510 high tobacco.

The tobacco ones taste pretty bad. The vapor is thinner than dripping, or for that matter, dumping a few drops into a PTB cart.

The menthol ones taste OK, but the same thin vapor problem.

Wondering if its just cause they are joye-cartomizers or are all cartomizers like this? I was thinking of getting a blank next to test refilling with, but if the filler material = thin vapor, no reason.

I'm not sure what may be wrong with your cartos but I've never bought prefilled cartos of any brand. I've used the Boge and SLB empty cartos, filling with my choice of juices, and have found the Boge versions superior to the SLB's.

I've also recently tried the eGo mega cartomizeers and got my first E2 cartos today but my personal final verdict is still out on both. The 510 empty Boges are my go to day to day carto and I've had good results with them.

I use blank Boge 510 cartomizers with my own juice and blow huge clouds of vapor.

I also use Boge 510 cartos and the vapor production is great! Cartos do vape different to me, though - a warmer vapor than an atty, and the vapor is sort of...silkier? Less poofy and more thin individual strands in it. If that makes any sense I also find the flavor to be a bit different. For instance, with Boston Cream Pie, I taste more creaminess with an atty, whereas the rest of the ingredients come out more with a carto. I like both, and though I've loved the convenience of cartos for switching flavors and there being very little fuss...I need to cut costs. So I'm moving to an atty and drip tip for a while. Then again, the E2 R4 510 cartos should be out soon.....

The cartos I got a few weeks ago seem to be too hot when use on my passthru. On a battery they aren't to bad, but still hotter than regular carts. The draw on them is great, don't feel as hard to get a good draw. Right now, i'm saveing them to use with my dark juices(tastyfinger, kona mocha) as they seem to clug up regular attys faster that the lighter colored juices.

The boge carto's are the best, but are getting harder to find. I bought 200 direct from the manufacturer just so I dont run out for a while lol

I've used the blank 510 cartos and don't get much flavor or vapor out of them. I got an E2 carto in a PIF and it is amazing! Clouds of vapor. Don't think I'll ever use those regular cartos anymore. Having no filler in the E2 carto made a big difference for me. I'm a strict dripper, but this E2 carto is great for driving.

Good way to define the vapor from a cartomiser...its just different. Im finding the same with ego cartos. But they all seem to have a bit of a break in period, like 3 days for me...so far. Im testing a mega atty for ego..quirky. If it was consistant, it would be fabulous. But I have the 510 atty down, so this new BEAST of an attomiser WILL be tamed, and obedient....OBEDIENT I SAY! ( I have high hopes for this one )
