I ordered 20 from awesomevapor,I love arno and im assuming this is all user error but im already on my 3rd after 24 hours.
:(

the first 2 look nice and saturated,I know how a fiber is supposed to look, but im getting no drag at all,no flavor at all and little vape.
I popped on my 3rd but filled it a little less, but still generously just not super saturated and its working okay on all 3 areas mentioned above.I just know these are supposed to be really wet and im afraid im gonna kill the third. Are cartomizers really as hit and miss and attys?Im using condom method for first fill and down the sides for top off. These are soft caps btw, please give me some idea for better TLC on these,I really wanna love cartos but ive used 8ml in the last 24hrs trying to get these things to work.

Here's the link
Blank Cartomizers for the 510!

and yes you're a mind reader, standard fully charged Ego.And you're gonna wanna kill me when I ask this, how and what does it mean to vape higher voltage?I know it means more power but thats all I know.I wanna get into it but ive just recently gotten back into pv's(about a month in a half now)after having 8 months success on regular 510 with a 4 month analog backslide. Thanks

Hmm. I'd email them asking what resistance those are. Assuming that they're "standard", they should be around 2.5Ω, though some vendors I've seen consider "standard" to be as high as 3.2Ω with the Boge cartos. Depending on what they say, you might want to give the 1.8Ω cartos a try. Note that many vendors don't recommend you use a low resistance carto with eGo batts, but I think you'll be fine - at least to try it out.

To go high voltage, you need to ditch the eGo platform altogether and go for a mod or a passthru. There's a ton of info all around this forum about high voltage and low resistance vaping. I'll see if I can find a good primer and post back.

Unless otherwise noted a standard Boge carto comes in at anywhere from 2.9-3.2 ohms. I've gone through 25 of them now, and they all measured in this range. Running these on a 3.7V device, and especially an ego, which is not really 3.7V, will make them seem weak. They shine on a 5 or 6V PV. At your voltage you need the LR cartos, with the caveat that ego batteries tend to be stressed by LR attys/cartos. A true 3.7V PV will run LR stuff like a champ.

2nded, and I stand corrected. It's funny how 2.5Ω on an atty is considered standard, while it takes 3.2Ω to be designated as such with a carto.

I found some links from one of our resident experts that the OP might find helpful:

Those look like SLB cartos with the brass threading. If so, then they are about 2.8 ohm as I remember from when I had some. You're problem could be related to the connection that they do/do not make with the battery. I have one mod that won't connect with Boge 2.0 ohm cartos unless I use adapters. What kind of battery do you use?

Yup, Buzzy is correct. This brass connection is almost certainly SLB. The ones I tested came in the 3.0Ω range and werre horrendously overfilled, making vaping almost impossible, choking the coil and blocking the airflow through the carto. Don't bother.

If you're using an eGo class battery, get some 2.0Ω Boge cartomizers. They are rock solid and perform very well at that voltage. They have silver threads and are widely available. I get mine from Liberty Flights. LiteCig, Vapor Kings, Vapors Etc and Nhaler carry them also, just to name a few.
