Hey all. I was just wondering if anyone has experience with regular poly fill style cartomizers with VG. I use 100% VG Dekang liquid (yeah I know I need to upgrade to better quality) and they work pretty darn good in my standard 808 cartomizers. Those are the only things that don't give me problems and they work and wick great. I'm sure they could perform slightly better if it was thinner, but still I get big clouds (just the flavor is weak). Now the 510 ones I have are slightly different then the 808 as the filler is slightly different and you can see the U end of a copper looking coil at the mouth end when opened. So I got like 50+ drops in it and still didn't even get any leakage... let them sit for a while and tried to use them. They take a hard draw and still get slightly weird tasting and little vapor from them.. like close to nothing.

I know it must be the difference in the design from the two, but it's just weird that I get like nothing out of them. Like it is basically unusable at the moment. I also have rough times with atomizers, tank systems, and cartridges, but that will be another thread another time. I have a 5v mod box from Nhaler coming in so hopefully I have some luck with it and all the parts I have to use.

I know I should probably dillute it slightly, but the flavor is already VERY weak with these Dekang liquids (got them from Cignot and they are not labeled Dekang, but have the same sticker on bottle). Oh and I get slight allergic reactions to PG I believe so I'm not going to dillute with that right yet. I am going to order 75/25 VG/PG liquids to see if I can handle it first.

Any tips or experience with them? Any help is greatly appreciate. I am analog free for almost 3 weeks now and loving vaping. Just wish things went a little more smoothly with everything I buy...

I also have 510 CE2s, 510 dual coil 1.5ohms, 510 cartridges, lecig jumbo 808s, LR 1.5 510 attys, Ego-T tanks... so if any other advice for any of these would be great too. But don't have to focus on these since I will end up making threads. For some reason though just plain old 808 cartomizers rock... just need to get better tasting USA liquids.

ive never tried Dekangs VG juices in a 510 carto but i do use Bobas Bounty from AV in a LR Boge carto all the time. it performs just as well as any other juice in them and i havent had any problems using it in them at all. one thing to note is not all 100% VG juices will be the same thickness. yes all VG will be thicker than a all PG juice but some are thinner than others. you could always try to thin it out a little with a drop of water or vodka.

Do I need it to be distilled water? How about boiling tap water or bottled watter? Or what is the cheapest vodka or pure grain I could get away with? I just don't need to buy a giant bottle and spend a lot of money. But yeah this liquid is pretty thick. I filled a 510 cartridge today and it went in no problem and even 20+ drops... but wicking into the atty from it is very slow if any... so I need to drip a couple drops onto the atty and I'm not even sure it's wicking from the cartridge. So yeah I guess I do really need to dillute. Just want to know the cheapest and most convenient way as I have been close to broke from buying tons of vaping things..

i would think water would be the cheapest. im sure distilled would be ideal but im not sure if its necessary. maybe someone else can chime in on that. ive never had to thin out a juice since i dont use 100% VG often. these are just ways ive read you can.

Only problem I have really with PG is my eyelids get all flakey and dry and sometimes rashy if I mess with them if they get itchy. Other than that it's not so bad. But I just wish there was a way to prevent this from happening to me. Maybe there is... not sure. But if anyone can let me know about the water to add that would be great. Like if I could just boil some from tap or bottle?

Distilled water is available in any decent size grocery store, $1 for a gallon. It will be with all the other gallon jugs of water.

High proof unflavored vodka or pure grain alcohol works better. Devil's Spring vodka, 160 proof, is around $5 for a half pint.

Just a couple percent vodka, like 1 - 2 ml added to 30 ml of liquid, should help. Shake the bottle a lot after adding It, to get it to mix. With water you might typically try about 3 ml to start.

TY TY Very helpful. I will go and pick up both next time I can and give that a shot. But I found one company that says their VG is produced to the same consistancy of their PG juices. So will also probably give them a shot.
