510 cartridge question

Hey, I got my first 510 joye kit this week. All is well, very much enjoy it. The cartridges I have came with it, and don't really snap in. They slide in but that's it. Seems a bit fragile to carry in your pocket. I have an ego-t due for delivery next week and recall watching a video about pushing it in till it clicked. Wondering if it's just the type of cartridge I have for the 510? Thoughts?

Welcome and no...the only kind I know of that clicks on is the tank for the 510 atty -T

I think the click they are referring to is the hole being punched in the tank. Which is the same on the Ego-t as the 510-t.

Ok, thanks. Good to know. Is there any kind of tip or trick to have it not come apart in your pocket? Or is it more common to have some sort of carrying case? I've noticed a few but they seem sorta big....I'm sure great for hauling all the components around. I'm more looking at when at work and going out for a 'smoke' break with friends. Suggestions?

Hi Sam.8 and welcome. The standard carts just slide into the atty and although it isn't completely necessary, I like to line up the long part lengthwise with the bridge. The complaint we all have with standard carts is that they don't turn loose of enough juice and need refilling with a lot of juice still in the poly. There's several mods but they're all fiddley and often don't work all that well. Search the utube videos if you'd like to try one.

Thanks! I've watched quite a few. The stirring stick more air thing looks interesting. I research for a living so I must admit I've geeked out a lot over the last 2 weeks reading. This site is fantastic!!

It's been 2 days and I'm fully sold on switching. For what this kit has done in 2 days I'm cool with topping up, short battery (enjoy the size of it), vapor amount, smoking like feel etc. Really like it. I did figure out the bridge lining up thing, but still feels like the cart will pop off.

So perhaps with the other delivery I'll figure out what works best at what times The customizability of this 'hobby' is wild!!!

My first ecig was strictly for travel. I kept it in my pocket and it never came apart. It was a regular 510. I did lose the whole thing once in a rent car (Oops). I like the zipper case they sell for the ego-t, but I am just using a 510-t. You can still convert your regular 510 to the 510-t and that seems to fit snug for me. All it means is the atty is for a t and the cartridge is now a tank style. This is my first experience with the 510-t. I think I will be looking for a lanyard for mine or making one as it is a bit of a hassle fishing it out of my bag. But as for the desk I did get a passthrough (spelling?) and just keep it plugged in at the desk and take the passthrough to the car with me. Good luck!
