I don't do much in the way of reviews, so please bear with me on this. I decided to do this because I've seen tons of discussions on the regular filler DCCs, but nothing on these that I could find. I've been a CE2 clearo user for a good long time now. I mod them of course with 3ml syringe tubes and lift the plug off the coil a bit. They seem to work really really well and last forever for me. Only drawback has been leaking issues and they keep separating on me.

So I started doing a bit of looking around and these510 CE 3.5ml Stainless Full Metal Dual Coil Cartomizers caught my eye as well as the clear ones. I picked up a couple of each (my bf stopped using the clearos a long time ago and stuck with metal ce2's because of the tube cracking issue.)

Out of the package my first thought was...these are freakin huge! They looked a lot smaller in the picture, but at 3.5ml I can't expect them to be tiny.

Filling was a bit of an issue for me as there were no instructions. With my ce2s, I just put a syringe down the side and fill...put the gaskets back on and I'm good to go. These have a metal ring below the sylicone cap that I had trouble getting my needle past, but I made it work. There is also a larger sylicone (I'm guessing anyway..not sure of the material) that sits snug above the one over the coils. That one gave me some trouble removing as it's really in there.

Once I got it set up and I've been using them, here are my thoughts.

1. A bit harder to fill, but manageable.
2. So far no leaking or juicing issues.
3. Really hot vapor...too much for the bf, but I'm managing it ok with a menthol liquid which offsets the heat. I filled one with a tobacco that seemed to kill the taste for me a bit, but it's a new juice to me as well so I'm not really sure what it's supposed to taste like.
4. The metal tanks get HOT...I have to be careful with them.

5. The performance, however, rocks. This is the first ce carto that I haven't had to adjust or fiddle with in anyway and I've gotten no dry hits since I started using it a few hours ago. I vape pretty steadily so that's a big one for me.

6. I'm getting quite a bit of vapor out of these. At least as much if not more than with my ce2 XL's. I'm finding that I can't hit these as often as I get light headed now lol.

7. I can't really say much about the flavor at the moment. Up until the other day I've been vaping mostly unflavored liquid. I picked up some liquids from the classifieds just to change things up a bit but I haven't fallen in love with any of them so I don't have a favorite flavor to compare the taste to on this device vs another. I do find that I'm liking the Atomic Cinnacide, but as much as that burns my mouth on my ce2's, I'm scared to put it into this thing.

8. I can't speak on durability yet as I just got these in today, but I'll update on that when I have some time with it.

Overall, I'm impressed with the way they work straight out of the package. I'm using these on an Ego 1100mah PT battery and I have a booster coming this week so I can try them at a bit higher voltage and see what happens, but I think the vapor will be too hot for me..we'll see.

Oh, and they are noisy lol..can't stealth with these in a quiet room but I like the sizzle..I know they are working.

Anyhow, rambling. If you are a ce2 fan and don't want a tank, but want something bigger than a standard carto, I'd give these a try. I got them from Sterling Vapors. Reply if you want the link. I've got some Stardusts on the way, however, and from the reviews I think I'm going to prefer those.

Time will tell...

Thanks for reading
