I've been becoming more and more curious to the Vapor King as its been getting talked about more and more, and was wondering if it was worth it.

I love my 510. Sure, I gotta go through some labor to get it "just right" on some days, but i'm very pleased with it.
I can reuse the cart as much as I want, do my own filler mods, and blow out my atty everynight to ensure its clean (I don't do boiling or dry burning anymore, learned that lesson)

The cartomizers for the VK, as I hear, only last for 3 refills, and those things are about 12 bucks a pop if I can recall. That could get quite expensive.

So am i right? Would the 510 be a better financial choice? I'm a college student, gotta watch every dime.

I own both and the cartomizer has its advantages over the 510. For instance the cart actually uses all of the liquid in them. And you can get almost 20 drops in an empty one. You can get them from Cigeasy for 7.95 for 5 and you can get blank ones that you can fill with your own juices. When you buy the prefilled ones it is hard to change the flavor in them without a funny taste. You can use them more than 3 times. It's more like 10 refills. The battery that you get with the VK is just as big as the pen style and it lasts for a long time. I use mine for driving mostly just because I don't have to worry about the cart going dry.
OTOH... The 510 produces much more vapor. And those little atomizers will last a long long time. The VK is a little more to operate so you are right in assuming that the 510 is better for the budget minded person.

Hope this helps you

Just in case you arent aware the VK is also known as KR808 (without logo).
After purchasing the KR808 I do not use my 510 as much.. to me because of atty life I find it much easier and less expensive to use my KR808 even as I use the green cig carts on them. I have refilled my green cig carts at least 15x and NO burnt taste or burnt carts when pulled apart. I get MORE vapor than my 510 also on the green cig carts than I ever will get with my 510. Drew at NHALER.com has 2 kits and 1 with pcc for same price as the 510 and many color choices. Other kit options available also. Use code saveinnj for 10%!
Drew's KR808 carts are 9.00 and he has many flavor options.
KR808D-1 SERIES
He is also now carrying the manual Kr808 with extended cut off and sealed battery. IMO the KR*)* is a better choice. Carts have more flavor, hold more liquid and no priming or cleaning atty's. I also drip Drew's HV juice on them and this improves throat hit, vapor, the burnt tast as liquid burns slower, and flavor!
