I'm still using batteries I received with my V4L starter's kit @ the beginning of October. Don't count re-charges, but I'm a chain vaper and haven't noticed any signs of degrading yet. I hardly ever let my batteries fully discharge, just rotate them through the PCC every couple of hrs. I recently added an X-long batt to my gear for convenience not having to carry PCC on me when I go out to the club, and that baby lasts me all night and then some.

Yeah, I have so many being used at the same time, rarely does one ever get to the totally dead stage. Every now and than I just grab different ones, exchange the carts and charge the ones I was using (I had 4 chargers from kits at one point - down to 2 now because of loans). I have one silver battery from April that's still working! It doesn't last as long as it used to, but it still vapes just fine. There just have been some posts lately of batteries going dead and people wondering if they should request replacements or not, so I thought I'd throw the question out there.

How is refilling the carts any easier than filling the carts on a 510,901 or 801? I really don't see where it is any more convenient, in fact it seems more fussy as you have to disassemble them.

Super easy.. Just take a hook type of thing I use a dentist tool pry up on the most piece softly till it gets lose then add about 18 drops and your done. Put the houth piece back on :)

If you only consider dripping juice into a 3-piece cart, then the cartomizers are more fussy to refill.

However, try refilling some 3-piece carts and stick them in your pocket. That is a guaranteed mess unless you put them in a zip-lock bag or something else that will seal. I have walked around all day at work with 5-6 cartos in my shirt pocket. No leaking - no mess.

When one carto is done, or if I just want a different flavor, I change it and get an instant flavor change. There is none of the previous flavor mixing in because it's still in the atty. When I change a carto, I'm changing the atty too.

At least that's my opinion on the subject. Hope this helps.

That would definitely be an advantage, I'll have to try them. Will the carts fit on a 510,901,801 or Kr4081 with an adapter?

You can get an adapter to convert 510 batteries to cartomizers. Altsmoke is one source for a high-quality adapter.

I use cartos on my Silver Bullet and BB (which I received yesterday) using that adapter.

Edit: Forgot to mention. The KR808 has the exact same threads as a 901. The carto will screw onto a 901 battery, but can't "breathe". Some have had good luck by just loosening the carto a bit.
