Sure, dont mind that top screw sticking out a bit, heads where nearly rounded when i got them :/, gonna be messy getting em out when i get some replacement screws.
Noticed the FD dont sit straight, easy fix since its not glued now :) much easier to see once photographed, strange, now it kinda bothers me.

I assume you'll have to install the 510 + washer while the hex bolts are already through the top cap? The washer partly covers the bolts so once in place the bolts can't be put in or taken out anymore.

Just to complete this thread, I wound up installing the 510 from my wife's Waidea Vapor Flask, and it looks great. The fit is perfect. It is much more stable than the adjustable pin one that came in the Waidea, and since it uses a locking nut it is now rock solid. I also included a grounding ring, I forget what they are called.

Thanks!
any chance you can post a pic of your wife's Waidea with the new 510? I NEED to replace the one on my waidea :) but not sure which fat daddy to get or how it will even look!

cheers :)

Finished installing a modified Fat Daddy v3 in my Kangxin Flask.
Don't try it. Too much work because there really is too little room in there. I had to shorten it quite a bit and because of the stupid way the batteries are making contact (no springs but just a piece of plastic that's being pushed upward when you tighten the battery lid) it leaves you with even less room.
I'm happy with the result but really wouldn't recommend it to anyone. No idea if there's more room inside the Waidea to work with.
