Is there actually a specification for the 510 connectors? :blink:

If so, the tolerances must be about +/- several millimeters.

Some attys have long threads, some extremely short, some nave recessed center pins, some stick out a couple of millimeters.

The amount of fiddling it takes to get some devices to sit flush is just unbelievable in this day and age.

Am I the only one frustrated by this? :facepalm:

Regardless of all that, just the tight space is a problem.

The 510 thread connection is important for cigalikes.

Once you move up from cigalikes, it's better to go eGo thread;

I don't have any drippers with eGo threading, don't really recall seeing any.

Even in it's infancy, connectors for fiber optics were made to certain specifications and they pretty much all worked.

I just get aggravated that the connectors aren't built to a consistent spec. I mean, don't get me wrong, I understand that people are slapping attys together as quickly and cheaply as possible, but :censored:!

My home made dripper is a miniprotank (eGo thread) base with atomizer in it, with a second miniprotank base stacked on top of it. I can just drip direct onto the coil.

Not fancy, but workable for a homemade.

OK, that's a true mod! :toast:
No, that's a proprietary thread :)
