Hey everyone

I got another question for the REO experts. I just received a new Silver Vein Grand. The SL is fantastic, looks better than in the pictures and it somehow feels even better than the old Grand. I'm very happy with mine but have one question. The 510 connector seems to be real picky with attys. My Divo and Reactor go in half a turn and stop. On the other hand, some of my other attys screw in fine. I just read that Rob's is upgrading all 510 connectors some time soon and I'm certainly going to get in line for that.

In the meantime, anyone have any ideas how to screw on some of these problem attys or am I out of luck?

Thanks

Only problem i have EVER had with my LP is that my El Diablo Mephisto will not thread on at all. Maybe 2 threads tops.. its okay though i have every other atty that works flawlessly. Only thing that bothers me is that i drilled the pin on the Mephisto BEFORE the Reo arrived. If i had waited i could still use it on other mods. Oh well, not like my other mods see much use anyway. Manually dripping is not my style. <3 My REO

My love- Kawa Reo LP w/ TRA SL door & LokiLab Odin.. Mmm Mmm

I'm wondering the best way to go. Grind down the Woodvil drip well so more RDAs can be used or wait for the new 510 connectors to come out and send the older Woodvil in for some replacement surgery? Decisions...decisions...decisions.

Problem is the Woodvil's 510 is raised so if you just remove the rim you'll still have the 510 above the top of the mod and if you screw on a 22mm atty lets say it will look weird. I had to remove the whole 510, cut a larger hole and recess it in the mod so it's flush.

Thanks. Well I have several RM2s that work great on my existing Woodvils so I guess its best to leave them be and wait for the new Woodvils to come out. I know a LP grand is a good temporary solution but Im dead set on wood. ;)

One of my Grands 510 connector flops around like a limp pud. I'll look at it and it'll be 5 degrees or more out of alignment. I swing it back into something resembling the correct position and carry on. I think I've dropped it on its head too many times.
It still vapes fine. If Robert is providing an upgrade, I reckon I'll send it in then and get it straightened out. That'll work.:)
