I hear a lot of parts arriving doa and the hassles with suppliers that can ensue. Has anyone received any 510 chargers batts or attys doa.( not including passthru's)

anything in the starter kit

I have 10 kits with nothing doa..............(or dead in a month of vaping for that matter) Everything has arrived and is still performing almost flawlessly..

We were hearing the same kind of thing now as we did with the 901 several months ago when it was the favored choice for new users. Most of what I am seeing looks to be inexperience (beginners) as the Dura-C, 510, Titan, etc.. are being reccomended more now. The manual battery on the tube type vaporizer has increased the vapor/throat hit output which makes it more desirable now.

I have seen that the usb passthrough are not up to par, thus I do not reccomend those. Users probably would be best to purchase one from a modder, or make their own right now. At least until the problems with those get worked out.

I certainly hope it is not a problem with the the manufacturing in China like the 901 was a few months ago. Just seemed like everyone was having trouble with atomizers and batteries of the 901. Which drove everyone to search for something new. Fortunately the Dura-C was unveiled to take it's place.

I'm just not seeing an absorbinate amount of problems with the 510 compared to the amount of new users with one on here. Nor, with the ones I have bought for friends and family. User error, and a (small) amount equipment failure are to be factored in with the amount of people using them though

I just hope you are not putting undue stress on alot of new users with this post who are awaiting their new PV's, with high hopes of quitting analoges. This kind of thing can also be very damaging to the suppliers too.

I voted 3 all have been auto batteries that after the 1st charge didn't hold a charge. So not DOA but I never got a chance to use them. I've ordered 3 starter kits but only 2 had auto batteries and each had one DOA in them, I've also ordered 2 auto's from a supplier and one I received was DOA.

When I bought DH 510 kit for him I went to manual batteries, I'm slowly switching to manuals myself as I use up the auto's.

I don't know why but I think the auto batteries are crap compared to the manual. When it comes to the cells holding a charge it shouldn't matter but it does.

I think you misunderstood.......I'll try to edit. I was checking to see if there are any problems because all mine have and still are performing flawlessly. I also hadn't seen many posts in regards to 510 doa's so I wanted to verify. If they are less hassle or I've just been lucky. 510 rocks

i have been an exclusive 510 user from day 1 since i started vaping around 4 weeks ago. i have spent about £330 in that time(£135 for order still due) on 510,parts and liquid.
so far..... 2 out of 4 batteries dead.
1 usb passthru broken on second day of use
2 atomisers dead.

first order was from ebay(thought i was getting a good deal :) )
although i accept that this items are not to last indefinitely, i expect them to have a reasonable life span and so far i have been disappointed!
hopefully, when my big order arrives from far far away, i will be less p***ed off. so things do go wrong even if you do not misuse the equipment

Wow. That's a lot of dead gear. Sorry to hear it. I've had great luck with mine. One atomizer gave up after a month and one of my batteries is pretty weak, but other than that, the rest of my 510 gear is working like a champ.
I think I worded the poll wrong........to bad I can't change it. most people are saying they have no problems
