510 drip tip not fitting on 510 atty

I just bought a 510 drip tip and atty and was disappointed to find that the drip tip is not fitting on the atty?!?!?

I queried the seller and they stated to lube the drip tip O ring with juice. That does not sound kosher to me. That is where the drip tip is getting stuck is at the O ring.

Has anyone had this issue before? Any better solutions?

You actually want it to fit relatively snug, or else you'll eventually end up with a missing drip tip.

you could also try replacing the O-ring on it. but its honestly easier to just put juice on the damn thing

That's actually pretty common, some brands of tips more than others. trust us it does fit ........ just get a bigger hammer.

It will fit fine after it has been reinstalled a few times.
