510/ego as battery connector

as above, anyone tried making mods with a 510/ego adapter as the battery connector?

my 3.7v box mod won't fire using the adapter(as a battery connector) above. when i tried connecting the +ve and -ve wires to an led, bulli atty, ego-t atty - it works fine.
i've also made sure that i've got the positive and negative correctly.

anyone who has successfully made a mod with a 510/ego adapter(as a batt connector) please come in and school me. i know its possible because shan has made one before.
any advice greatly appreciated!

And not simply mount the connector fitting 510 screwed 510-ego and ego atomizers use. The whole connector extends you a 1mm

There's a bit on wiring for the eGo connector in this vid, maybe it'll help...

inside the adapter , got 2 positive pins? , remove 1 pin ( inside the batt box ) and test using led light if no DMM.

Measure the center pin contact depth on a 510 that works well Then measure the center pin contact depth on the 510 to eGo adapter. Shave, sand, file the top of the eGo adapter to match. The center pin is usually a little low on the adapters I have.

You can cut down a 510 connector, or adapter to use as a locknut.
