using 510 adapters as battery connectors

Hey hey folks,
I'm trying to build my first mod. I know some people use 510 to 510 adapters to connect the battery, but I'm not completely sure of the wiring. Does anyone know of a guide or want to walk me through it? All I really need to know is "positive goes here, negative goes here".

Also, is it possible to use a 510 to ego adapter for the same purpose? If so, again, I need to know positive goes here, negative goes there.

Best way I can explain it is the outside threads are your ground and the part in the middle is your positive.

Awesome! That makes things much less complicated.

So, in this picture, 1 - ground, 2 positive?



Also, I love your mod! This one I'm focusing on function just to get the basics down, but hopefully I'll start making ones as cool looking as yours in the future.
