Okay... I've been thinking about this lately. What a biatch it is to have to swap out batteries in the PCC while I'm driving with my 510. What a biatch it also is to have to add drops of liquid while I'm driving. So, I'm thinking about getting a 510 compatible ego/vgo/riva/tornado/inferno/whatever else this thing is called battery. i don't want a whole kit unless it's really not worth it to buy a battery. So... What is the least I can possibly pay for one of these(within the US), and where should I get it? Also, to alleviate the dripping while driving problem, I'd like to get a pack of 510 cartos from the same place to give them a try. I figure I could leave the carto/bigass battery in the car. That way I'm not fumbling with the PCC or trying to drip while driving. I can do it, but it's definitely not a good idea... So what's the best place to get both of these in terms of reliability(vendor and product) and price? Totally wicked has tornado batteries for like $20. That seems a bit steep, considering I heard about kits selling for as low as $30 or $35.
I still don't think I'll like the big battery, but I know I'll like not having to recharge it or fumble with the PCC in the car. and I'll probably just get over it eventually like I did with the manual battery. Oh yeah, that reminds me. In case anybody would possibly think otherwise, I definitely do NOT want an auto battery. ONLY MANUAL PLEASE.
Also, I'm not too worried about charging time on a 510 charger. I'm planning on only using this in the car, but if it's cheaper to just buy a kit than a battery in the long run, I guess I'll just buy a kit.
Oh, one other thing: About how many puffs would you say you get out of a 510 carto? compared to a cartridge? I didn't seem to get much out of a cartridge, and I just drip now. I have yet to try a carto.
