Maybe i am doing something wrong. But my 510 i got yesterday in the mail has a very harsh th and produces very little vapor. I was hoping for a mild th with nice flavor and good vapor

I have tried prefilled, filling an empty and dripping. Each inhale has me coughing and leaves me with a scratchy throat. I have even tried another atomizer thinking maybe i had a bad one.
I have not cleaned the atty. Would it require cleaning after 24 hours of use?

Well, if yoiu have been using it all day, chances are that stuff burned off, so no, don't clean it.
That's pretty weird, and not at all normal from what I can tell. Are you keeping your carts juicy?
Hopefully someone more experienced can help, or maybe you just got bum attys and can exchange em.

Are your juices PG or VG? PG will give alot more TH than VG, as well as less flavor. What nic level are you using. I have some 36mg juices that I have to be carefull with or I cough.
I've been adding 2 drops to the cart after about 10 - 15 drags. I just tested the vapor by not inhaling and it is produces a nice cloud. However, there isn't much of a cloud once i inhale. I might have to find a place that carries some good juice with a full flavor.
You should always blow out your atty when its new to get rid of the primer PG liquid.
Take off the mouthpiece
Hold (not grip) the threaded end in a paper towel
Cover the other end (cart end) with your mouth and blow HARD (drips should come out the thread end into the paper towel. If you hold it too tightly it won't blow out properly btw.
Wipe threads off (always keep the threads clean), reverse atty, repeat process.
Wipe again, drip a couple of drops of juice onto atty bridge (mesh type thing poking up inside atty) and re-attatch cart.
Primer puff a few times (suck in, no inhale, blow out immediately)
Put a couple more drips onto bridge.
Repeat
Atty should now work better without nasty or harsh taste.
ALSO: Make sure that your cart filler has not moved down too far from contact with the bridge. The bridge must ALWAYS be moist - a dry bridge will mean a soon ruined atty.
If the filler has moved down too far use a cocktail stick or toothpick to gently wiggle it up again.
The bridge will make a little nest in it when its attached; this is how the juice reaches the wick.

I bought my kit from Zig Cigs and they came with 12mg. Which is why i question the harsh th. I wouldn't think it should be that harsh with only 12mg.
I am not sure if the juice is PG or VG. I am assuming PG judging by the th and very little flavor. I'll have to check his site. I should probably look into some VG. I just know that my throat is telling me no more. I was a PAD smoker and never had this issue.
I actually had the same problem when I first started, but that was with the 7-11 bought xhaleo2 and prefilled carts. It was VG, but very harsh. This was menthol("mint") flavor. Didn't have the problem with any other juice.
