So I've been vaping for nearly a year and I've known how to adjust a 510 pin (to make a connection to a hybrid mod) but for some reason I just can't figure it out right now. Anyways, my issue is that I'm attempting to adjust the 510 on my Phenotype L Clone but everytime I back the 510 out the positive post gets super loose and it's driving me crazy that I'm clueless on how to correctly do this lol. Any help would be great, thanks guys.

Pretty sure that 510 isn't adjustable. My buddy has one and he said that it just loosens the positive post and that's it. Some of the capability but I would say it seems like most don't. Out of the 25+ rda's that I have I think about 5 to 7 have a adjustable pin. Maybe you got lucky with your other rdas. Hope this helps.

If the center post loosens when you loosen the positive 510 then you don't have an adjustable 510 on your RDA. If you need the positive pin to protrude more for use with a hybrid topcap mod a workaround is a small PTFE, peek, or delrin flat washer the right size to nestle into to 510 and take up the space so the positive post is still held in with friction. Some people have used the insulators out of a kanger occ coil head, but I feel the washer/insulator should be hard rather than rubbery for maximum positive post stability.
