OK so I have had my 510 for about 2 weeks now. At first it produced good vapor then it seemed to produced better vapor after being used for about a week, now it is hardly producing any vapor. I have 4 attys and it is the same story with all attys. Any ideas as to what could be going on? Are my attys dirty? I cleaned them in Everclear. Also there seems to be less flavor coming from my 510 than when it was new. If anything there is more of a burnt taste than anything else. This is going on with all of my attys. Any help would be great. Thanks.

The 510 is fussy - my personal view is they don't enjoy being cleaned. I've cleaned ONE in 4 months that was acting up and it didn't really help it. I usually just buy new ones as a pack of 3 is cheaper than a weeks worth of cigs. where I live. My average life span on my JOYE 510 attys is roughly 4 months (thats with no cleaning, just blowing them out). I have some non JOYE attys (cignot was out of stock so I went elsewhere) and they haven't lasted AS long but theyve been 'ok'.
I have to add that I drip with ALL my attys (even the 901s), and I find that helps a lot as far as avoiding burnt taste goes. I think almost all the attys Ive tried just need to be wet constantly, and not even a bit dry or this burned taste thing can happen. Sometimes its also a crappy atty, but Ive been lucky there so far. If the atty is dead I jsut chuck it and replace cos life is just too short to be mucking about with em :)

I've been having the same problem with my 510 atty's. I got mine from Heaven Gifts Wholesale & Retail Best E-smoking Supplier in China, not sure if they are "low quality" or whatever. I tried cleaning them out by swirling them around in some boiling water, it brought them back to life for a few hours, if that. I vape VERY heavily though. My ecig never leaves my hand. I would say its just poor quality atty's but my last batch from the same supplier lasted several months and my new ones are only lasting a few weeks. I think maybe its time for me to try another supplier, and while I was at it I went for a more powerful PV, needless to say my Janty Ego is on the way and im hoping ill be pleased :)

I don't know what's happening with the 510 attys. The first ones I got last September stayed strong for literally 3 or 4 months. Now the ones I buy from anyone just seem weaker for some reason. They don't die off, they just seem weak in the vapor department.

Have you tried the drip method with a T-tip? I haven't used carts of any kind since I started dripping several weeks ago. It works great, you can get lots of mileage out of 3 or 4 drops and it's so much cleaner than fooling around with carts and filler materials all the time. Have a look at the metal T-tips at Super T Manufacturing's subforum and the delvin (plastic) T-tips several others are selling now.
