The –T products are more prone to burn up with harder use.

Unlike cartridges or dripping you have less control over how much juice gets to the atomizer. If there isn’t enough juice, the atomizer overheats an burns up.

Unless something happened like the button was held down for a long time causing the fibers to burn, you are simply demanding more from the atomizer than it can provide. To keep it from burning up you will have to hold the button for shorter periods of time and or space your time between drags longer, so it is able to re-wick itself and cool. Other options are using a stronger juice, so you are satisfied with less drag/smaller drags.

If non of the above idea will satisfy you, you need to consider another model. The 510 is near the smallest out there, and being a –T its lighter duty than even a 510. I would consider a non tank model or one of the larger tank atomizer like the eGO or eGO style. Non tank models are the most durable for heavy vaping. LR models get hotter quicker.

Thanks Can_
I am using a pretty strong juice and have 1100 mah batteries and I love the vape I get from them.I do keep them well juiced and was surprised to find them burnt.
I have tried the ego t and 510 atyys and find they lose their kick after a few days.I also find the cleaning time consuming and generally unsuccessful. With the cartomizers I can pitch them and put on a new one.
I think I'll try the ego (non T) atty and see what happens.
Thanks again

If you are using a Tank atty, like a 510-t or Ego-T, do a primer draw every 5 or so puffs. This will keep the atty wet, and prevent burning. I still preffer a tank system over a carto, I hate filler taste.

I do however recomend smoketech cartos, they are the best I've ever used, the Dual coil cartos are great, and the new Echo-E is fantastic, 2.5ml's of juice, lasts the average vaper about a day, maybe a bit less if you are a heavy vape, but all are easy to fill. :)

Keep the cartos wet, they probably scorched because they were too dry.

Although I'll take a vape-and-pitch scorched carto over the possibility of a dry hit from an atty/tank-atty any day. Ugh, my brain is making my mouth remember that horrible taste. Bleh.

Refill cartos often or squonk your Reo!

That's just it,I have never had a burnt taste.I keep my carts over juiced if anything. If they get even close to getting white I drip some more.Like I said,I was surprised to see burnt fibers.
I usually pitch them after 3 days or so.I'll check another one out after making sure it is not getting dry.
Thanks for the help,it is much appreciated :)

It's interesting to see how the vaping community seems to be divided into carto fans and atty fans - for me I could never get around to liking cartos. The one that I managed to like the longest was the Kanger horizontal coils, excellent TH, good vapor, but still the flavor just doesn't compare to that of 3 drops straight into an atty.

I am the opposite, can't get into attys. Dry hits make me want to barf, and flooding an atty is a pain in the ..... My Reo keeps my cartos wet, gives me huge TH and flavour.

I have a few LR attys around, I should give them a whirl on my Reo
