510 PCC LED Questions

I recently bought a 510 PCC. It's the metal kind, which takes manual batteries and has three small LEDs on the bottom left corner.

The top LED is obviously for 510 batt. charging. It's red when you insert a battery, and goes out when it's charged. The bottom is clearly for internal battery charging. It's red when you first plug a miniUSB cable into the PCC, and turns green when it's fully charged.

What is the function of the middle LED?

It glows red when the PCC battery is too low to charge a new battery. Basically it tells you it's time to recharge the PCC!

Ah, so that's why I've never seen it light up - I've been keeping it well charged. Very cool. Thanks for the info!

Hey, my PCC's bottom green light stays on all the time, even when it's not plugged in. Seems to be charging the manual batteries ok. Anyone ever have this poblem?
