I own a protege and wondered about the gap after receiving mine. Some attys will be flush and some will not be flush. So far, all of mine have had the air gap.
In a previous post, Cash commented that leaving the gap was a design choice to assure that virtually any 510 atomiser will work with the Protege 510 adapter. I agree that it's not pretty, but it works very well.
I own a protege and use a 801 atty.Very new to all of this and was wondering am i wasting my time with this size atty on 3.7v.Does the 901 or 501 produce more vapor just from being smaller.Does this make it get hot easier?Get good enough vapor(I Think) from 801,but would like to get the most I can out of it.
