510 starter kit?

Hi all -
I posted the same question in the 510 forum, but thought there might be more response here.

My boyfriend is wanting to get in on the vaping action and I talked him out of the mall kiosk path. I use a 808 and love it, but based on his preferences it seems like the 510 is going to be a better model for him. (I've already mentioned the ego/riva option, but he's hell bent on a smaller battery.)

Being a 808 user, I don't know what to recommend as far as a good 510 starter kit. My first instinct was to go with the kit from LiteCigUSA because of the price and the company's good reputation. If anyone has any other suggestions for a relatively cheap, good quality 510 starter kit (or any comments on the LiteCig kit) we'd appreciate hearing them.

Litecig sells Joye 510's and they're good. I had one and that's the one that got me off analogs for good. I used it for about a month before the short battery life had me looking for something better. Joye 510's are good units if you don't mind being a slave to your charger. A PCC helps, but even then 3 batt's are necessary if you smoked much. I'd kill a batt before the next one was done charging which left me in a bind a couple of times.

If you're using a KR8, why not just go with one of those kits for him? Then you'd be able to share parts if need be. Another option might be the 901 Riva which litecig sells. It'll take your 808 carto's without an adapter so you could use that kit until your bf decides he needs more power and confiscates it from you.

If you're set on a 510 kit, try cignot. They have a no box kit for $35.

Thanks, cignot looks great. I tried to sell him on the 808 actually, but he says the vapor is "too warm" and I seem to remember someone saying a 510 will produce slightly cooler vapor. I'll mention getting a spare batt to him, thanks for the tip.

Hmm... been looking at those and the big batt 808 models. Might have to take you up on that bit too. =)

The 510 is a cool vape unless you put 306's on it, then it warms up a lot. You can also use an eGo batt with a 901 adapter to use your 808 carto's on it. I've got an eGo batt set up like that with 2.0 ohm carto's and it's a slightly warmer vape.
