I recently received (on 3/25) the 510 kit (510 Kits) from madvapes. It's a great deal at $29.99 for 2 whole auto cigs and 10 carts and a little surprise (in my case) of a 10 ml bottle of 24 mg Red Bull. It was ordered on 3/23 in my hands on 3/25. The kit exceded my expectations. The USPS also out did my expectations.
This was such a good deal that I felt compelled to buy some more stuff. That's where I hit a little snafu. On the same shipment I ordered 2 additional manual batteries and 2 atomizers to augment the kit. Everything was there and I charged and tested everything. All was well (very) in vaporland. However, after charging the last battery (a manual) and using it for 1.5 hours (in rotation with my other flavored PVs and on the first charge still) it stopped working as all batts are inclined to do so I thought I would pop it into the included charger and spin it up while I enjoyed, in rotation, the other 510 manual and two autos (along with my 2 Volcanos, 2 VapCigs and a single 4081). This was not to be the case. It seems that the brand new manual battery was malfunctioning. I put it on the charger and the light, instead of turning red, stayed green! This puzzled me, so I dug out my volt ohm meter and checked the batt and it showed (without the button pushed) some DC volts happening. It should not be showing voltage until the button is pushed. So I knew something was amiss and sent an e-mail to Sales at MadVapes. The next morning I got an e-mail with some instuctions for possibly fixing the battery by gently trying to lift the positive center contact post. I tried and succeded in slightly lifting the post with some pointy tweezers. This didn't work and I am still waiting to hear back on how I can either get a credit (because I would like to spend a few more bucks and get the mega 510 batt) or getting a new battery.
Has anyone else had this experience with a brand new manual battery that worked for a bit then stopped?
