Hey guys and gals,

I have a GLV supermini and after a few months of constant use I simply cant get several of my attys and cartos to fit. They just slide in and out like trying to put a baby's foot into a full size shoe. There's no way the connector will accept the threads of the cartos, the threads are just too wide.

The biggest issue is fitting Ce2's into the connector, it seems like they are far smaller than the SLB LR attys that I use. The attys still fit, but it's not a tight fit. For reference, everything that I have fits like a glove in an EGo connector.

I really don't want to have to pitch my GLV, or pay $50 for a new headcap. I've read about using conductive epoxy and tapping it to fix it. My first thought was to set the pin to a gap that I like, then solder and tap it, but there has to be an easier way.

Have any of you had to deal with worn/possibly crossed threads? And how did you deal with it? Is there anything I can do that won't fudge up the adjustable connector pin? I just want my cartos to fit again! (yes they did fit at one point, but they were NEVER tight on the GLV).

So can I save this thing or what?
