Ok so Im looking for suggestions on a variable voltage battery with a 510 threading that will go to at least 7v. Id rather not buy new complete kits. Ive seen the new joytech vv xl series but these dont go high enough in voltage for my liking. I want to get around 5volts as I vape 100%vg juice. The new joytech gets to 4.8 i believe but then it drops off to lower voltages as the battery drains. Id like to stay around 5v the whole time I vape (if possible) but Im not sure there are batteries capable of holding their charge well enough to do that.

Im just looking for recommendations on batteries here. All help is appreciated.

Frankly, I wanted it to go to about 7v just so I have that available to me should I wish to use higher ohm attys and try juices out at higher voltage. Id need an education on why wattage matters. I had assumed higher V = higher W?

As far as I know the joytech twist vv xl will not maintain its voltage and will drop off. Its an option, but Id rather have something that maintains its voltage the entire time until the batt loses its charge.

Any ideas on who sells a lavatube at a decent price, or even a lt knockoff? Should I be looking for a unit that only uses one battery, or two? Is stacking two unsafe?

The review at the bottom the guy actually takes this mod to 6.5v, not sure if it will maintain this with a carto or w/e attached. It says it runs between 3 & 6 volts so may not be what you are looking for, although I'm curious what it will actually do (set the voltage with a screwdriver though).

Yeah the screwdriver setting is a deal breaker on that one. My local supplier actually stopped selling all units like those awhile back. No matter who made em those screws always failed. He said they stripped alot and setting them was a pita.

Still looking tho. Vapingzone has some vv mods but they dont seem to want my business for some reason. I emailed and asked when the battery mod kits would be in stock and their answer was to try and get me to pay full price for the same items as the kits. No offer to make me a kit (I emailed them back asking them to piece meal one at the kit price but no reply). I could buy per piece, tube, batt, charger, and spend over $30 more on the same items included in a tube mod kit... go figure. They have the items in stock separately.... smh

Well I think I found what I am looking for at Crystal Clear Vaping:
http://crystalclearvaping.3dcartstores.com/CRYSTAL-CLEAR-V-V-TUBE-Standalone_p_116.html

However now im ont the hunt for button top high drain panasonic 18650. 2250mah batteries and a charger, just to see if i can save some bucks and get a higher mah battery than what they have available.

I can find the batteries but how do I know what charger to buy with them?

Try here I recommend either the Pila or Xtar, I got the Xtar because they sell extra spacers and I have just about everything from 26500 and 18650 to 16340 and 14250.

I second the Xtar choice. They seem to perform just as well as the Pila and for about half the cost.Plus I don't think Pila makes anything bigger than a 2 battery charger, but Xtar has a 6 battery charger that comes with 6 spacers.

Thanks for the suggestions. Ive seen the xstar and its just too overpriced for what it is, imo. Done a bit of research the last couple days Ive decided on a trustfire model tr001. Does what I need it to do and the reviews Ive seen in a lot of places were good. Im good to go at this point and I appreciate the feedback and ideas.

I ended up buying the unit from crystal clear. I just couldnt find a unit with better specs for a LT type model and with free shipping I was sold. Itll be here today so im now STALKING MY MAILMAN!

Muah muah muahhhahahahaha!
