510 to 901 adapter ?

I received my p10 today, and first off, thank you david, it is wonderful. i've been surrounded by clouds of vapor all afternoon. i ordered it with a 510-901 adapter, because i thought that would work with 808 cartos. when i screw the carto onto the adapter, i can draw through it, but once i screw the adapter onto the p10, there is virtually no airflow. did i request the wrong adapter or am i doing something wrong? the adapter doesn't seem to screw in as far as i thought it would, but i don't want to force it. i know that while a 901 atty will work on an 808 battery, an 808 carto won't work on a 901 battery because of airflow issues. but the adapter looks like it should work...it has two air-holes, just as the 808 batteries do. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had to get a special 901 to 808 carto adapter. The regular 901 adaptor will not work. There is one small hole just below the threads where he carto screws on.

Try screwing the adapter onto your P10 first. Screw it down tightly, but not too tight. That should push the center pin up a little. Then screw on the carto till it meets the center pin. There will be a slight gap between the carto and the adapter which "should" allow airflow.

It works for me on my P18 with Puresmoker Atomz cartos.

thanks robo, that did the trick. i'm really diggin the lr510 atty, but i figured there may be a time when a carto is better suited to the situation.

by the way, i heard that bluemist's crabjuice is your all day vape.

LOL! crab juice rocks ! Of course I have to triple bag store it in a safe lowered into a 10 foot deep pit lined with lead to keep it from stinking up the place, but it vapes great ! just like crabs
