I don't own a 510, but I don't think I need to in this case. Your advantages to having a SD would be cheaper batteries that have a longer life cycle and larger capacity (more time between charging).

That said... you will get that benefit from any of the 'battery mod' types. Since you are using a 510, I'd suggest looking at the Prodigy. There isn't a 510 adapter yet. But I believe there are plans to introduce one. That way, you'd have the option of using the atomizers you already have.

I'm not trying to divert interest away from the SD... I have one and love it.

The GG can also be made with a 510 adapter, if you want 'now.'

I'm waiting on a pair of PureSmoker USB passthroughs with 510 and 401 adapters, kind f a toss-up for me riight now between prodigy 'v2'/next and a GG for the most part, but as Walrus said, 'find the battery mod you like, with the adapter/atty you want' and the voltage you want..the SD's 'proven,' but I believe only has 801 or 901 atty adapters, someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that one?

The SD has been available for 901 and 801 attys, but Trog doesn't like the 801... so I'm not sure he still has that available. I have a 901 SD with an 801 adapter. He doesn't like the adapter either... so I'm not sure if it's available either.

The SD is worth every penny in hassle free, consistent vaping and batteries that last 6-8 hours. And as walrus said, you will save in the long run with $3 batteries over $12-$20 batteries. I've also ordered the Prodigy. We will just have to wait and see how it compares.

For what it's worth, batteries in my SD only last me 3-4 hours. I'm a heavy vaper. 'Normal' ecig batteries only last me 1-2 hours.

That sounds about right. Inferior PV's (auto types) give me about 3 hours of use between charges whereas the SD typically gives me 6-7 but I have made it up to 8 hours so the ratio is about the same.

You won't be wasting your money. By the SD and a buttload of juice. Enjoy!

That being said, I have the 510 just as you, and I've tried the magnum mod. I have no desire for a juice guzzler now. My 510 puts out enough vapor for me, and a killer throat hit with my 36mg juice. I also don't feel funny vaping in public with my 510 (restaurants, bars, Walmart, Target, etc.).

But for those that have lots of dough to blow, and want to pour the juice to ultimate clouds of vaper... I say knock yourselves out. :)
