The 306 has a smoother throat hit, and a cooler vape. As far as life span, it just really depends on the brand I would think. I've used both types and never popped an atty. I also perform NO maintenance on my atties. In my experience, the cleanings usually weaken the coil more than normal use does. I usually just toss mine after about 3 months.

Sounds good. If your gonna get a VV than buying a standard resistance atty (3ohm) is going to be your best bet. This will allow you go through all voltages up to 6V. Which is the limit for many VV mods.

Also, what e-cig do you have now? If your using an ego than the lowest ohm you can go to is 1.8. Unless you wanna risk killing your battery. Hope that helps.

Weird...The 306's I have are smoother and cooler than my 510's. Same resistance even. What brand of 306 do you use? I prefer the stronger throat hit and heat.

Actually the 306 has a warmer vape and more TH compared to a 510. And yes, lifespan really does depend on brand and how well it's been maintained. So, it's anywhere from a few weeks up to a year if your lucky.

Out of the two, I prefer a 306 over a 510.

510's are generally cooler than a 306. Rating from the coolest vapor and least TH to highest for all atomizers. The list would look like this:

901, 801, 510, and then 306

Although the 901 will have the most flavor. The 306 will have the least out of them all.

All of my 306's are Cisco. What brand are your 306's? Just wanna say that not all brands are equal and there is a reason why some are highly regarded while others should be avoided like the plague. Since their performance is sub-par compared to the others.

306 is much hotter for me too. I use Cisco 1.5 (1.8 and 2.0s) 306s and have tried and sometimes use Bauways and Joys. When I bought 2 Joys, one was fantastic and one was very cool. You might have experienced a bad one, you should check it on a multimeter.

At least give it another try because if you like strong throat hit and heat, it's a great atomizer. Easy to clean too. 510s always seem too airy to me.

You've made a great choice with the ones you got. It'll give you plenty of vaping time and is very versatile. Which gives you the option of trying out almost every type of atomizer/cartomizer that you want. Just be careful with the 1.5's. Since they draw a lot of power. This can cause a malfunction in the button and fries the batteries.

Do you have a multimeter? Keep an eye on the resistance, because it sometimes drops as the atty get older. Going below 1.0 fries an Ego type battery fast.

Some of mine are Joye, and others are Ikenvape HV 306's. I don't do Low Resistance. I vape between 5.4 and 5.7v. My atties are 3.5 ohm. I DO have one LR 306, and it is a MA306 in a 306DCA, but even that is a very cool vape.

I will have to look into some other brands, cuz like I said, I prefer warmer and more throat hit. I don't think Cisco makes a 306 in the 2.5-3.5ohm range though.

Hey all, I agree that AVID VAPOR has the best 306 out there. Although I hear the IKVi06 is really good as well. I personally only use Cisco spec LR306 1.5 in both my mods. Very consistent atties, and they last longer for me. Using these atties you should be able to tell a huge difference in TH. Although TH can be increased without more heat. I sometimes find myself dulling done some liquids because the TH is to much.

The 306 will be cooler on a 510 batt, but warmer on an Ego class batt. The 510 doesn't have the current capacity to take the 306 into the heat range that an Ego does, especially if you use LR. I like the 306 on an Ego batt. It's what I use around the house. Great taste and vapor on and Ego compared to the standard attys.
